Antarctica Cruise Reviews is an independent comparison resource. No operator has paid for placement in the comparison table, a higher rating, a more favorable editorial summary, or removal from this site. No advertising relationships exist with any of the 10 operators profiled on this site. No affiliate commissions are earned when readers click through to any operator's website.
This policy is not conditional on operator conduct or cooperation. Operators do not have editorial review rights over their profile content, and unfavorable review patterns are reported honestly alongside favorable ones.
Ranking order
The order in which operators appear in the homepage comparison table reflects a combination of factors including Google Maps aggregate rating, review volume, and thematic relevance to the site's core comparison topic. It is not a strict best-to-worst ranking, and list position alone should not be used as the primary basis for operator selection. Readers should treat the full comparison table — covering rating, passenger capacity, landing style, and IAATO membership — as the primary decision-making tool, not list order.
Operators are not ranked by price, commission rate, or commercial relationship with this site, because no such relationships exist.
Review sourcing
All traveler reviews quoted on this site originate from public Google Maps listings for each respective operator. This site does not write, commission, incentivize, or solicit reviews on behalf of any operator. Reviews are filtered and displayed according to the criteria described in the Rating Methodology page; no reviews are manually suppressed because their content is unfavorable to an operator.
Editorial summaries describing "what travelers consistently say" are written by this site's editorial team based on pattern analysis of each operator's broader review set, including reviews that fall below the displayed 3-star threshold. An operator with a predominantly negative review pattern will have that pattern reflected in its summary text, even if only one or two qualifying reviews appear in the displayed sample.
Corrections policy
If an operator or reader identifies a factual error in any profile — incorrect ship capacity, incorrect IAATO membership status, an incorrectly attributed review, or a description that does not match the operator's current services — this site will review and correct the error upon verification. Corrections are acknowledged in context where a substantive change has been made.
To request a correction, contact the editorial team at editorial@antarctica-cruise-reviews.com with the subject line "Correction Request." Include the specific claim, the correct information, and a verifiable source. Correction requests are reviewed within 5–10 business days.
Operator submissions
Operators not currently included in this site's comparison can request consideration for inclusion via the Submit an Operator page. Inclusion is evaluated against editorial criteria — active Antarctica expedition itineraries, sufficient public review data, and IAATO or equivalent membership documentation — and is not guaranteed. Submission does not confer any right to editorial review or favorable placement.
Google Maps attribution
Rating and review data on this site is sourced from the Google Places API and displayed with "Powered by Google" attribution on each operator card, in compliance with Google's API Terms of Service. This attribution requirement applies to all operator cards, including those where ratings are displayed as static fallback values.
Changes to this policy
This editorial policy reflects current practice as of the date shown at the bottom of the homepage. If material changes are made to how operators are ranked, how reviews are sourced, or how conflicts of interest are handled, those changes will be reflected in an updated version of this page.
